WHAT WE DO

OUR MISSION

ECM builds relationships and collective power across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for racial and economic justice as the expression of God’s transforming love. We do this by organizing Episcopalians and funding BIPOC-led movement building in grassroots and faith-rooted organizations.

OUR STRATEGY

We believe that God intends a world where there is liberation for all, regardless of identity. Yet, BIPOC folks in our community are continually deprived of access to healthcare, education, housing, and food due to a widening racial wealth gap. Grounded in our conviction of God as justice and love, we are focusing our resources and work toward shrinking the racial wealth gap in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

OUR GUIDING POLICY

ECM will establish partnerships and focus to transform the way we leverage our assets to shrink the racial wealth gap. We will do this by aligning with BIPOC-led movement building and solidarity economies in Massachusetts which are creating just and sustainable economic models to redistribute resources and power with Black and Brown communities and lay the foundation for a meaningful and courageous contribution to reparations and solidarity.
