"Faithful Resistance" Training - Sunday, April 26, 2-5 pm Cathedral of St. Paul, 138 Tremont St., Boston, MA. Across From the Park St. T Station, and $10 parking vouchers available in the Boston Common Garage. Free Event! With optional donations collected for Operation Milkweed (Families Impacted by ICE).
As the grip of anti-democratic forces, a new war in Iran, and attacks on our communities grow to the next level, so must our collective resistance grounded in faith and love! Please join us on the afternoon of Sunday, April 26 for three hours of building skills and deepening relationships with people of all faiths committed to justice. The program will include singing, support for discernment around risk and commitment levels, and some concrete steps for those looking to move from "activist" (personally taking action) to "organizer" (getting others involved, building a team). The second half will consist of 4 breakout options: mutual aid and community care; mass mobilization and non-cooperation; leading resistance songs and chants; and preparing for higher risk actions.
