Ujima Faith Network Gathering
Episcopal City Mission, Reparations Interfaith Coalition of MA, and Boston Workers Circle is proud to partner with the Boston Ujima Project — a democratic, member-run organization building a cooperative business, arts, and investment ecosystem with a mission to return wealth to working-class communities of color — along with other community allies to co-host Gotta Have Faith on October 23 at Nubian Markets. This gathering will bring together people of diverse faith traditions to nurture an interfaith network rooted in collective work, responsibility, and solidarity. By centering values like ujima (collective work and responsibility) and ujamaa (cooperative economics), ECM continues its commitment to advancing a solidarity economy that helps shrink the racial wealth gap and builds community power across Greater Boston.
We’re inviting people from all faith traditions (or any spirituality!) who are motivated by social justice to:
🤝 Build new and deepen existing relationships as a way to build power and connection
🗣 Learn about each other’s justice work & find common ground for collaboration
🌱 Deepen our shared vision of an economy rooted in values & solidarity — and take next steps to make it real
📅 October 23 | 6–7:30 PM
📍 Nubian Markets, Roxbury, MA
