The Greater Boston Community Land Trust Network

Greater Boston Community Land Trust (via DSNI)

With funding from Finding Our Way Home, GBCLTN will integrate healing, rest, spiritual practice, and cultural connection into its power-building work for staff and community members. Organizers and leaders often carry immense personal and communal burdens, making it difficult to rest, reflect, or tend to their own wellbeing while supporting their communities. This funding will help normalize practices that nurture emotional, spiritual, and physical health, including peer-to-peer connection, outings, community healing events, and reflective practices integrated into workweeks and gatherings.

In the coming year, GBCLTN will offer small group lunches, coffee meetups, field trips, healing fairs, and workshops with local practitioners, allowing staff and members to co-create experiences of care, rejuvenation, and learning. By embedding rest and healing into everyday work, the network anticipates stronger leadership, more resilient communities, and the expansion of participants’ capacities to engage with urgent organizing work with clarity, skill, and care.
