MA TPS Committee

With funding from Finding Our Way Home, the Massachusetts TPS Committee will expand healing, spiritual, and cultural support for TPS holders and their leadership team during this extremely challenging time. Many members are facing the loss of legal status, which threatens their ability to work, provide for their families, and remain together. This funding will allow the Committee to integrate healing into everyday organizing through shared meals, music, arts, and relationship-building activities at local assemblies, creating space for members to rest, reconnect, and rejuvenate amid ongoing stress and fear.

In the coming year, the Committee plans to organize a leadership retreat, provide bodywork and massage services, and support participation in storytelling and healing workshops offered by partners like United for a Fair Economy. By embedding culturally responsive healing practices into their work, the Committee anticipates stronger resilience, deeper community bonds, and more effective engagement in campaigns to protect TPS holders, ensuring that staff and members are able to sustain their organizing while nurturing their own wellbeing.
