Neighbor 2 Neighbor

With funding from Finding Our Way Home, N2N/LUCE will deepen the integration of healing, rest, spiritual practice, and culture across staff, board, members, and LUCE hub leaders. The grant will support a Community Healing and Collective Care Initiative including healing-centered gatherings, retreats, and relationship-building activities; LUCE healing hubs in Worcester, Springfield, and Lynn; and individual wellness support such as coaching, massage, or silent retreats. By intentionally embedding these practices, we aim to restore energy, cultivate emotional resilience, and build collective care into the daily rhythm of organizing, ensuring that organizers and immigrant leaders can continue their vital work without burning out.

This integration of healing into organizing is grounded in the belief that self-care and spiritual care are political acts. By fostering trust, connection, and rootedness, this work will reduce burnout, strengthen collaboration across the organization, and infuse campaigns with intentionality and care. When participants experience being witnessed and supported, they are better able to hold their own energy and sustain long-term movement work. Through this approach, N2N/LUCE will create a more joyful, grounded, and effective network, ensuring that the fight for immigrant justice is sustained with clarity, courage, and collective love.
